Prioritise a clean, consistent recording environment over expensive equipment, since a quiet room with soft furnishings to absorb echo will noticeably outperform a hard, empty space paired with a costly microphone. Curtains, cushions and a carpeted floor all quietly help more than most beginners initially expect, a point that becomes clearer with practice.

Once a format and a rhythm feel settled, upgrading specific pieces of gear becomes a far more informed decision. At that stage, a creator usually knows exactly which limitation, whether that is background noise, inconsistent levels or clunky editing, is actually worth spending money to solve properly.
