Creating content that travels well by word of mouth
Launch library · evergreen read

Content that people genuinely want to share with a friend tends to have a clear, simple core idea that can be summarised in a single sentence, since a complicated concept is considerably harder to pass along accurately from one person to another, something that becomes second nature with enough practice.
Emotional resonance, whether that is humour, surprise or genuine usefulness, drives sharing far more reliably than technical polish alone ever does, since people generally share content that made them feel something specific, not simply content that looked expensive to produce, a distinction that matters more with experience, especially when comparing notes with other creators.
Make sharing genuinely easy wherever possible, since content that requires real effort to pass along, through an awkward format or an unclear title, loses much of its natural word of mouth momentum before it ever really gets started, even during a genuinely busy week, which is easy to overlook when things feel hectic.
