Because so much creator work happens on the exact same phone used for everything else in daily life, the line between working and resting can blur without a deliberate boundary firmly in place, and small habits, like specific notification settings, can help redraw that line clearly and consistently over time.

Designating certain hours or certain days as genuinely off limits to content work, even briefly, protects a creator's long term ability to sustain the career over many years, since rest is not wasted time in this equation but part of what actually makes future work possible at all.

Communicate boundaries clearly to collaborators and, where relevant, to your audience as well, because people generally respect a stated boundary far more readily than they might respect an unstated one they were never actually told about in the first place, particularly once other people start paying attention.

Review your boundaries periodically rather than setting them once and quietly forgetting about them entirely, since what worked at the very start of a creator journey may need genuine adjustment as the scale and demands of the work continue to change over time, even when nobody else seems to notice the effort.
