Just as a creator must respect other people's copyright, their own original work is automatically protected by copyright the moment it is created, giving them genuine standing to request the removal of unauthorised copies found elsewhere online, particularly once an audience starts to grow, which becomes obvious only in hindsight.
Keep records of your original files, including drafts and raw footage where practical, since these records can help demonstrate authorship if a dispute over ownership or unauthorised use of your original content ever genuinely arises, even if the benefit is not immediately visible, something that becomes second nature with enough practice.
Understanding your own rights as a creator is not about being overly protective or difficult to work with, but about being properly equipped to protect the genuine value of the work you have already put real effort into making, a distinction that matters more with experience, a habit that quietly protects a longer career.
