Building multiple income streams for stability
Launch library · evergreen read

A creator relying on a single source of income, whether that is platform payouts or one recurring brand partnership, is genuinely more exposed to sudden disruption than one whose income is spread sensibly across several distinct sources, especially once the novelty of starting out wears off, especially once an audience starts to take shape.
Additional streams do not need to be dramatic or entirely new; small additions like affiliate income, a modest digital product or occasional consulting can meaningfully diversify income without requiring a total change in creative direction, especially in the early stages of a creator's journey, even when it feels like a minor detail at the time.
Build new streams gradually and deliberately, testing what genuinely fits your particular audience and skills, rather than chasing every possible income idea at once, which tends to spread both attention and quality far too thin, particularly once an audience starts to grow, which becomes obvious only in hindsight.
