A smaller, highly specific audience is often more valuable to the right brand than a much larger, generic one, since niche followers tend to trust recommendations within their exact area of interest, which is part of why patience matters here, particularly once other people start paying attention, especially once an audience starts to take shape.

Brands selling into a specific category will often pay a premium to reach an audience that is already genuinely interested, rather than paying less to reach a broad crowd with only passing curiosity, even when nobody else seems to notice the effort, a small discipline that quietly compounds over time.

Understanding this dynamic helps a creator price niche work confidently, rather than assuming a smaller following automatically means a smaller rate is appropriate, which is worth keeping in view as things scale up, especially once the novelty of starting out wears off, especially in the early stages of a creator's journey.
